French Bronze Figural Mantle Clock. 4.5" porcelain dial signed "Lepine, a Paris" has black Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers, pierced gilt brass hands, hinged brass bezel with convex crystal and rear door with beveled crystal; round brass 8 day spring driven movement has a half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a gilt bronze case with seated figure of a man on the top, flanked by 2 figural swans with water flowing from their mouths and silvered platform representing water; mounted on the front of the case is a figure of a peacock and 2 figural dragon spandrels below. Movement is running and striking, missing pendulum, has some light chipping to the dial. 18" high x 13" wide x 6.25" deep. Weight: 25 lbs.
